Lesson 1 of 5
The first step to healing is being honest about our wounds
Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Pain is real, and God never asks us to pretend it doesn't exist. Before we can heal, we must acknowledge what has hurt us.
Many of us have learned to suppress our pain, to "be strong," or to move on quickly. But unprocessed pain doesn't disappear—it festers.
**Reflection Questions:** - What pain have you been carrying that you haven't fully acknowledged? - How has this pain affected your daily life and relationships? - Can you bring this pain honestly before God today?
**Prayer:** Lord, I come before You with my wounds exposed. I acknowledge the pain I've been carrying. Help me to trust You with every broken piece of my heart. Amen.
